Where the soul flies free.

The name «Kirkinezi» comes from the rare, migratory falcon that passes through Antikythira against the wind, persisting solitary and free. In the traditional settlement of Drymonas, Vasilina Nezi’s need to preserve the Kytherian heritage transformed a stone building from the last century into a sanctuary of quiet luxury.

In this place, where mythology holds that the rising Aphrodite found her first earthly shrine, the island’s energy remains unaltered. Where the village once gathered to bake oil rusks in the large wood-fired oven, today a stay experience filled with tenderness is offered, far from any tourist clichés, with absolute respect for the local architecture. The stone channel still guides rainwater to the cistern, the porous stones frame the windows, and the centuries-old olive grove gazes proudly in front of the bell tower.
Returning to the roots, escaping to a small village for relaxation and peace – Kirkinezi was created to make your journey to Kythira, exactly as you dream it.
Welcome to Kirkinezi, where the soul flies free.
