The mansion house of the first floor features a rare, bright layout and is full of large windows that flood every corner with Kytherian light. Here, the history of the building is alive: the large bedroom hosts the authentic stone fireplace and the old traditional stone basin. Above the cozy living area is an elevated wooden loft (“krevatos”) with two single beds (ideal for children), and a wooden ladder leads to another traditional loft (“krevatos”) with a king-size bed.

The heart of Vigla beats outside, though, on the bozi – its huge, independent veranda with the natural shade of the chaste trees, the large built-in sofa, and the hammock. From here, you gaze for hours without hearing anything, letting your eyes and mind travel over the hill of Agia Elesa, reaching all the way to the sea and the mountain of Avlemonas.
